A Unique Project
Having purchased an unfinished new build property, the customer wanted to add their own unique touch to the space. Their keen interest in history and travel led the vision for the home’s interiors, aiming to create a space that had character and layers of interest.
The priorities for this project were to find a budget-friendly alternative to real wood, with a wide range of designs and sizes that would be easy to install.
Facing Challenges
Mouldings would be essential to add personality and impact to the space. However, the customer struggled to find the right designs that suited their style. Most suppliers offered bespoke mouldings but with long lead times that would delay the project.

For the downstairs space, the customer opted for SAM3526 skirting board and SAM3525 architrave, an elegant, statement design that instantly added character. SAM502 Hockey Stick was layered with the architrave, framing the doorways in a truly unique style. The sizeable width of the Victorian skirting board alongside the layered architrave was the perfect combination to add that sense of heritage and history to the space.
